Bumblebee

Bombus ternarius

Description:

fuzzy big bumblee bee with a half-orange abdomen

Habitat:

on a trailing blackberry flower, coastal temperate rainforest

Notes:

I'm not certain of the species as there was more yellow on the abdomen than I'd expect for B. ternarius, but it's as close as I could come.
