Royal Poinciana

Delonix regia

Habitat:

tropical

Notes:

One of my all time favorite trees since I was a child in Cuba, it is widely grown as an ornamental and shade tree in the tropics. I can vouch for it been grown all over Cuba and here in Miami. Cubans call it Framboyan. (This most likely comes from it's other English name the Flamboyant Tree.) If you zoom in on the map they are hard to see because they are bare on either side of the green marker.
