Hylarana raniceps
This one is a Juvenile, Copper-Cheek is not so prominent yet. It was long known as Rana chalconota (now Hylarana chalconota) in error; that name refers to a related parapatric species
The Copper-cheeked tree Frog (Hylarana raniceps) is a species of true frog in the genus Hylarana. It is native to Brunei Darussalam, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and possibly Myanmar Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, rivers, intermittent rivers, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marshes, plantations, rural gardens, heavily degraded former forest, irrigated land, and seasonally flooded agricultural land.
This Frog is among up to 30 different species of Frogs that can be found in a small area inside Kubah National Park, fondly called, the Frog Pond. The Pond is not man-made but rather from wild pigs over hundreds of years. A visit to Kubah National Park is not complete without a night walk to The Frog Pond at dusk/night where you will hear amazing sounds, and a recording of this sounds was entered into a competition, which won The Most Beautiful Sound in the World earlier this year!
