Description:

Beautiful little songbird. Males display fairly vibrant breeding colours (see above) with females being browns on wings/back with brown and white chest with white eye-stripes and slight pink/purple tinge in top of head. Distinct forked tail.

Habitat:

Frequent visiter to feeders and locally common in mixed and coniferous forests.
