It's definitely a gecko. But without more visual information it would be like shooting an arrow at a mosquito. There are probably over a hundred different species of gecko in that region of the world.

Beautifully clear photo and holding it certainly helps to get such a close-up. It would be nice though to see the entire animal in its environment. Where did you see it?
