Painful stickers that get hooked on pants, shoes, shoelaces, socks, dog's paws, our bare feet in the house, etc., resulting in painful pricks. Each bur is about 5mm in diameter minus the spines. You need tweezers to remove it, or it will impale your fingers!
I'd like to know what these are and how to kill them.
Or perhaps the person to name it as such had an ex-wife named Annie and felt that this burr was preferable!
