Deer Mice

Peromyscus maniculatus

Habitat:

Under a garbage can at the Hennepin Canal Visitor Center.

Notes:

I found 5 little deer mice nested up under a garbage can near some hiking trails. They were cute little buggers and readily posed for some shots before retreating back into their nest.
