well, keep your eye on the rue...it's hard to notice the Giant Swallowtail caterpillars...yep! The Blacks love fennell, parsley, dill and carrot tops.

No, but I found Black Swallowtail caterpillars on the Bronze Fennel in my garden last summer, and the fennel is planted right next to the rue.

I *think* I posted that spotting...now I have to check. :)

Have you ever found Giant Swallowtail caterpillars on your Rue? It a good larval host plant for them.
