Myosotis scorpioides

They can come in blue, purple, pink or white 5 leaved flowers. The flowers can be 1 cm or less in diameter. They prefer moist habitats and they bloom in spring. They are part of the boraginaceae family. Myosotis is Greek for mouse' s ear, referring to the shape of the petals.

There are many species of forget- me- nots in the new Zealand region, but they can be found in Europe .

These are a very popular flower. They do populate quite fast. Depending on the weather and temperature conditions, they can bloom each year.
