Baran Cüce Yılanı

Eirenis barani

Description:

This is a kind of common snake in Adana. It is not venomous snake.

Habitat:

It was under a rock which is so moist. The weather was cloudy(5). The rock was 20 meter away from a smal lake. In the place there were also Natrix natrix and some small animals that the snake can eat. Also under the rock there were a small hole after I put the snake in his place, it went to that hole. It's natural habitats are Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation and rocky areas.

Beautiful. I like the way it matches the ground colour.
