Oh I see, it is a Paracantha sp., I was obviously quite out of the row with my planthopper. Great you have an Id of this one!

Of course Cindy, accuracy is very important, i think the info i have is insuficient to get a reliable ID so i edited it to show only the genus... Thanks for all your help with this fly :)

Well I don't believe everything on Wikipedia yet it's something to consider. There are several species in this Genus that look quite similar and each species seems to like a different plant Aster, Thistle, etc. Accuracy is very important here so it may be best to leave this one at the Genus level since there's doubt. Great job noticing the food details!!!

Thanks Mayra
@Cindy i only have one doubt... Wikipedia say that they're find near sunflowers and i don't remember any flower (of any type), any idea if this information is reliable?

You're welcome. This one was just to interesting not to look up!

I don't know... You might be right, i think it would be easier if i were able to remember the number of wings it had... By the way thanks for that info, i didn't knew about those planthoppers, they looks a lot to flies...

I think this one is not a fly but a planthopper. I wasn't sure if a Cixiidae or Derbidae. Now I think it might be a Derbidae.
