Description:

This was about 1m (39.3 inches) in total length. This snake is responsible for causing the most snakebite fatalities in Africa.

Habitat:

Found in all habitats except true deserts, rain forests, and (tropical) alpine habitats.

Notes:

We spotted this in a Hippo hide and treated it very carefully.......... This snake is responsible for causing the most snakebite fatalities in Africa.
