Pincushion hakea

Description:

A very attractive spherical flower cluster with bright pink petals and white pins terminating in yellow tips.

Habitat:

A popular garden plant worldwide originates from a small coastal region of Western Ausrtralia.

Notes:

The last two pics show the tree is very sick with black spotted fungus and the trunk core is damaged. =(

And the tree is often struggling and sickly. This tree was very ill (I'll add another pic) and maybe explains the very strong flowering.
