Apis cerana and Formicidae species
An Asiatic honey bee under attack by small unidentified ants with gold-colored abdomens.
Observed on a large taro leaf (Xanthosoma sagittifolium) in a large semi-urban yard & garden next to a disturbed patch of remnant lowland forest.
The bee was alive but clearly dying.
