Description:

Black wasp with thin yellow bands on abdomen, thorax had a couple of yellow markings, large gray eyes, wings clear with reddish veins, legs are lighter. Adults to 13 mm.

Habitat:

Spotted on Round Headed Buckwheat (Eriogonum sphaerocephalum). Next to the Taneum Creek. Cascade foothills around 2000 ft a.s.l. Open coniferous forest nearby.
