Description:

It measures 11.5 cm. and weighs 6.5 grams. Is relatively large and opaque colors, with clear and conspicuous malar, the beak rather short and thick and broad tail. In general, adults are dull grayish brown with a green sheen on the back. Shows a violet spot between the bottom of the eye. They have a bright green patch on the throat, with blue on the bord. The bill is black. and the legs are dusky.
