This beetle is not Paropsis at all, but Dicranosterna: hemisphaerica.
It was determined based on this image, which has since been moved from Paropsis to Dicranosterna.

This is probably uncommon in general as I am not familiar with any other image online of this beetle.
This is the beetle that prompted me to contact you. I di not expect to see it again. I will do some homework on it shortly.
Love the green beetle.. They are not so common around here.. :)
