A cicada with different kinds of green and brown shades. About 35m - body length, wings excluded. It's body and wings have a little bit of golden reflections. It's top and bottom are photographed.

Habitat:

Trees nearby the hill of Aristo inn, Kundasang, Sabah, Malaysia.

Nice study ChunXingWong. The green posterior plates vibrate and the mostly hollow abdomen is inflated with air causing the vibrating plates to echo like drums and thereby 'throw' their voice.
