Cookeina sp.

Description:

Cup - coral pink. Some open and some curled in at the rim. Cup size varies 3/4"- 11/2".Underside of cup has 2 white circles near the rim. Rubbery texture. Stalk rubbery texture approximately 1-11/2" in length.

Habitat:

Growing in shade on rotten timber at the edge of a mountain stream bordering a mixed fruit garden

Only two remaining Leuba, the rest had perished ... Cup diameter 11/4" I was a tad generous!! .. stalk 11/2" .. .got 1 correct :) And I now have a little paper tape measure that I found in my sewing box that fits in my camera bag perfectly :)

Thanks Leuba .. Will be walking through this area again tomorrow so will check out the size ... a bit on the generous side maybe :) So that's tape measure, mirror ..... LOL!!!
