Orange-thighed Frog [Northern Red-eyed Tree Frog]

Litoria xanthomera

Description:

Large orange-red eyes, green dorsal surface, bright yellow feet and a yellow band down it's flank.

Habitat:

Tropical North Queensland

Notes:

Photographed at Atherton Gold Produce just outside Tolga on the Atherton Tableland. I was pruning Dragon Fruit (Pitaya) Cacti when I discovered this Northern Red-eyed Tree Frog. It is very similar to the Red-eyed Tree Frog (Litoria chloris).
