Description:

World's smallest true monkey, the diminuitive marmoset weighs only 4-5 ounces and stands less the 6" long (without tail).

Habitat:

Prefers river edge forests in Brazil and Peru. chews small holes in the bark of select rainforest trees and laps up the sap as it runs out (shows preference for just a couple of species of trees' sap).
