Domestic pigeons and Eurasian Collared Doves

This cage was designed to house both homing pigeons and doves. It has several nesting boxes and allows for the birds to come and go in a safe, clean environment. The owners have created a wonderful dwelling in their backyard in TX

Notes:

White pigeons are replacing doves for ceremonial releases because the pigeons will survive and make it home safer whereas the doves cannot and likely cannot survive the release in the wild after being caged.
