Harbor Seal

Phoca vitulina

Description:

The story goes that this area in Victoria was once home to a "Sea World" type of animal park. It was closed when it's Orca's were sent to live in larger tanks. The Harbor Seals were released but still swim back to the park location to feed. You can now buy frozen fish and feed them right in the bay. This little guy was very sweet, curious, but shy.
