approx. 15 cm , with gray wings, terrestrial habitat. Was seen in an area of steppes, 800 mts.above sea level, in a dry and windy area of Patagonia

Southern Andes and Patagonia

Notes:

I was downloading photos from my camera to my computer, and when I looked out the window I found the adult male and the juvenile, just outside the window, with my 500 mm in the camera!!! huge luck!!!
