Description:

Brilliant orange clusters of flowers on multiple stemmed lanceolate leaves. A type of milkweed and a favorite of Queen and Monarch butterflies but also visited by other butterflies and even hummingbirds

Habitat:

Prefers dry sandy soils

Notes:

This specimen lives at the foot of my garden
