Ant Mimic Jumping Spider

Description:

Tiny jumping spider, the size of an ant. This species, like most other ant mimics, moves like an ant as well. Reddish-brown coloration. They move their front pair of legs around like antennae to further imitate the ants.

Habitat:

Temperate woodland. Rockwood Park, Virginia.
