Tiny irridescent green/blue wasp of which there are thousands of species throughout the world, this one measuring a tiny 4 to 5 millimetres. Most of these type of wasps parasitise the eggs of other species by laying their own eggs in the host nest where the hatchling can devour the host young. The colours of these wasps is dazzling ranging through the metallic greens, blues and purples to name a few.
Found in most environments particularly drier woodland regions, this one in dry woodland forest but stopped off on the window ledge.
