Bluebell

Hyacinthoides non-scripta

Description:

Small herbaceous flowering plant, growing up to 30cm tall, and growing from a bulb. It shows erect stems with inflorescences, containing 6 to 10 blue flowers in form of the bell, with highly incurved petals.

Habitat:

Found in urban setting, around our building, in a part of the garden that was not really entertained for some time, and is full of wildflowers this spring...

Notes:

About the garden around our building - I'm still wondering if some of the plants and flowers I'm currently finding around (Bluebell included) are not remnants of some of old plantations... as far as I'm aware, Bluebells are not often found around Alps and Jura.
