That's an old image. Cackling used to be a subspecies of Canada but is now a separate species

Desmond, a cackling goose is something completely different from a Canada goose, so if you are going to make an ID suggestion of cackling goose, then don't call it a Canada goose. But Bill has the ID correct, this is a Canada goose. Bill is much too large to be a cackling goose.
