Spotted Towhee

Pipilo maculatus

Description:

Beautiful bird with red eyes, a black hood and wings, white breast and rufous sides. Females have a brown hood. There are white spots on the wings, giving it its name.

Habitat:

Coast Sage Scrub next to pond.

A lovely bird!
Guess what ?i saw afeather of a red tailed hawk. The sheer vibrance of the orange ,,blew me away!!
