Most beautiful duck I've ever seen! Blue and orange body with white markings. Females have a brown body with white marks on the face.

Habitat:

On the jetty in the ocean.

Thanks Luis and Neil! I wouldn't choose to still stay that far north for the winter if I were them! I'm glad they at least came as far south as they did so I could see them though :)

You're right, Ashley. They are beautiful, and those marking are quite striking. According to the reference link, this is about as far south as they go in winter? Gotta be better than a freezing winter up north.
