Yucca sp.
Yucca in the late afternoon light. Part of a landscape planting, although it's worth noting that several species of yucca are native to the Southeast U.S. I think this is probably Curve-leaf yucca, Yucca recurvifolia.
Also listed as Yucca gloriosa var. recurvifolia.
