Description:

Brown grey and buff striped sparrow with distinct malar stripes.

Habitat:

Usually near water when seen in southwestern BC and will usually answer to pishing. This one was chirping away on a branch over the water and never stopped calling for quite a while. It was so warm today maybe he things it is spring!
