A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Sparrow sized tit, easily recognized by its characteristic colors: black crown, nape, neck, throat and black line through yellow chest and belly; white cheeks and grey-olive mantle.
Very common in woodland areas and agricultural areas. Here seen from my window - in urban setting (but very calm small town and close to a big wooded + meadow park) and to agricultural fields. All together, our town is very close to slopes of Jura and coasts of lake Leman (Geneva).
This observations are part of a Great Backyard Bird Count. Great tit, beside the house sparrow, and together with Blue tit, is one of the commonest visitors of our feeders...
