Habitat:

This is growing next to the Willow I spotted, next to a stone-lined drainage creek. There's also one growing in the yard across the back alley from my house. Closest water source there is the storm drain in the middle of the alley.

Notes:

Tree near office. Smooth trunk. I think the flowers smell like cherries.
