I thought the same thing my first time spotting a larva.

I use to live right underneath Horsetooth. Some friends believe they've lost their homes out there. So sad. Take care Daniel

The closest the Wildfire will get to Fort Collins is Horsetooth Reservior. I thought the beetle larva was a caterpillar at first
