Spotting

Thanks Jellis, I will try that. All other images were moved. It was a windy spot and also in the shadow so that did not help. All remember is it was small, perhaps 2 cm or so..

That is a tough one. Maybe you will need to send it to Butterfliesandmoths of North America site. They can research it for you. Hope you have more images.
