Heliotrope or Salt & Pepper Moth

Utetheisa pulchelloides or Utetheisa lotrix

Notes:

Seen on the Barcaldine Botanical Walk. It was quite difficult to get this shot, as the moth was aware of me and kept turning its belly towards me so the stalk was between us. I can't tell if it's a heliotrope or a salt and pepper moth, I think you have to be an expert to tell them apart. They look like they're a light mauve colour when they're flying.
