Eastern White Cedar

Thuja occidentalis

Description:

Needles: Pointed, flattened, overlapped in opposite pairs • Tightly covering the twig like shingles • Dull yellow green short trees, many brown needles.

Habitat:

Urban garden

Notes:

The needles may be brown for many reasons, as it is an evergreen I assume the leaves (scaly, flat needles), should be green. The brown color and stunted growth could be do to the location, too much sun exposure, improper soil quality.
