photographing and learning about wildlife
Slightly smaller than a blackbird, the rock pipit is a greyish bird overal. It sports grey-whitish but heavily spotted breast and belly, pale eye-ring, dark legs and long and black bill.
In France, it can be observed only on a narrow strip of Atlantic coast. Here, during our trip to Brittany, France I was lucky enough to observe and and it's count on my lists several times - every time on rocks just in between the sea and the vegetation.
The pictures here are all from protected areas and reserves.
