Spotted Owlet Athene Brama
An Owl in broad day light
Spotted in a bushy area in northen part of India
They were in pair. Another one was hidden. Exactly looked same. Sitting pretty tight as if posing for photograph, looking straight into my camera. When I approached closer, both flew away.
MahabaleshwaraB, Athene brama is an Asian species, whereas Athene cunicularia is a New World species.
It looks same as today's SOTD. Burrowing Owl. Athene Cunicularia
What is the difference between Athene brama and athene cunicularia ?
