Description:

It was less than 2 inch long and dark green in color.

Notes:

I saw it under a tree in Monash University, Melbourne on a cool day. It was raining a day before and in the morning.

Beautiful Cicada.

The species is correct.
It comes in several colors, usually green.
The green one is called the greengrocer.
