Description:

Put there by young kids who had caught it elsewhere. It has grown from 3-4cms to about 15-20cms. There were 4 of these but 1 died. I have only seen 2 recently. A heron was there yesterday looking for breakfast.....

@Reptile man, perhaps you can shed some light on this one http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/590... which has been living in the same pond for many years.

Thanks for the ID reptile man, I've only been trying to find out for about 5 years. I got down to Sunfish a couple of years ago but then another search suggested that Sunfish were sea-dwellers.
