Mexican Lyre Snake

Trimorphodon tau

Description:

Mexican Lyre Snake. A friend of mine sent me this photo asking me if it was a "dangerous" snake because he found it in its house and was concerned. Well, it took some time before an expert came with the ID. Nevertheless it is a beautiful snake, one I had never seen before.

Habitat:

Arid grassland.
