Hypoponera punctatissima
Long, narrow ant with dark abdomen other than the top segment.
Under rock in damp area with slugs, pincer bugs, woodlouse and short-tailed whipscorpions.
First for Project Noah and for BugGuide!

Hi Tom, I received a response from Bug Guide and apparently we're both wrong :) This is a first for Project Noah and for Bug Guide.
You most definitely could be right! I've had Fire Ant in my head since I found the short-tailed whipscorpion with them. Apparently there's a correlation and I just made a leap. Thank you for the comment and ID!
