West Indian Manatee

Description:

While snorkeling in the freezing water of Crystal River, Florida, we were able to spot 4 manatees - two babies and two female adults. The smallest baby we saw was frequently nursing from its mother.

Habitat:

Fresh water rivers - spring fed
