Halloween Pennant

Description:

Interesting dark and orange wing coloring in this dragonfly.

Habitat:

Large empty field back from the road. The plants were cut down in the fall, but are growing back and parts of the field are starting to get a little swampy again with the rain, so the wading birds and everything else are starting to come back now.

Notes:

A couple of these were darting around, I got a few decent pictures, but the focus was never perfect.
