Harnessed Tiger Moth

Apantesis phalerata

Description:

When this moth is in flight, it looks red. Many of the moths like this that I have seen lately are bright yellow at rest, but still red in flight.

Notes:

I found this moth in my home, but I have been observing them outdoors for a month or two.
