both species greater and lesser are present in the photo.

If these were curlews the beaks would be bent down. these are curves slightly upward.

A lost flock of these wintered over in an urban park near my daughters grade school last year.... they must have been lost as in 25 years I have only seen them there once. Pixs are on my Noah pages
