I am thinking it came through the garage since the door leading to the garage is in the same hallway as the the bathroom.

I actually called animal control. When I tried to reach for it, I noticed its tail shaking similar to how a rattlesnake shakes its tail. So I was a little apprehensive at picking it up, since I didn't know at the time it was a milk snake

Considering it is albino, I do think it was a pet snake that got away.
